I recently completed this job for a customer who needed the "Convex Oval" photo, of the woman, copied reproduced so that it could be placed in a rectangular frame. A stain removed and other flaws were cleaned up. The second photo, of the man, needed stains and other defects removed.
Over the years I have copied hundreds of photographs, paintings and more. In recent years with the advent of digital photography, more can be done to restore images.

Convex Oval of Woman (after restoration)
This photo, could not be laid flat in a scanner, was therefore photographed on a copy stand.
The customer wanted the result to be rectangular rather than oval in order for prints to be able to be placed in normal rectangular frames.
Flat Rectangular Photo of Man (restored)
This photo was too large to be scanned in the usual way. It was scanned in four sections and then those images were merged into a single image.

This photo needed the yellow and rust colored stains and spots removed.
